A Qualitative Exploration of Successful High School Baseball Coaches' Silence During Practice

For athletic coaches, there are many methods to coach athletes. One method that may not be as common, or even thought of coaching, is silence. Silence when the does speak but thinking specific team, player, and competitor items. The purpose this study was interview consistently successful high school baseball coaches with an emphasis on their silence a coaching behavior. Five in southeastern United States were interviewed. Generally, it found strategizing, baseball-related items while being silent during practice. results from valuable addition literature, showing only about talking yelling also coach’s silence, powerful form coaching.
